The Griffin Poetry Prize Announces 2020 International and Canadian Shortlist
On April 7th, 2020 The Griffin Poetry Prize released both it’s International and Canada Shortlist. Judges Paula Meehan (Ireland), Kei Miller (Jamaica/UK), and Hoa Nguyen (Canada) each read 572 books of poetry, from 14 countries, including 37 translations to create a shortlist of 4 International and 3 Canadian works.

World Literature Today, the University of Oklahoma’s award-winning magazine of international literature and culture, has announced finalists for the 2020 Neustadt International Prize for Literature. This prestigious prize recognizes significant contributions to world literature and has a history as a lead-up to the Nobel Prize in Literature.
